We provide the necessary academics to mainstream these kids into the government school system. Otherwise, they would just grow up illiterate and poor for life. Hope Ascending is an entirely voluntary organization. No one receives any compensation. Thank you for choosing to support the work we are doing for children and their families in very poor sectors of India.
Please consider making a monthly donation so we can offer scholarships to the poorest among our children. Some of the families can afford to pay a small fee each month for their child’s education, but many cannot, and we don’t want to turn anyone down. Your support goes to the poorest of the poor.

What we do – In a Nutshell
This is our eleventh year working with children in an Indian slum. We have a school that accommodates up to 250 students. The idea is to teach them academic subjects so that they can test into the government educational system. We have been very successful. Two of our teachers attended, went onto school, college, and are now back teaching with us! A monthly donation of just $50 pays the tuition for one student, including their books, and uniform. Put a smile on an new student’s face. You can’t imagine the joy when one of these first-generation students puts on a school uniform for the first time! God bless you.
